Laundry time!

Nathaniel hung a retractable clothesline for me last week.

It is on my covered back porch, so I can hang laundry even if the weather's 'iffy'!

This porch was added to the house by my father-in-law years ago.  When I was hanging my laundry, I kept thinking of Deuteronomy 6.
"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up...  And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;  Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. "

Having a child of my own definitely gives new meaning to these words for me.

Eloise likes her new toy bucket.

I love her face here!

The little baby clothes all in a row are so cute! We are all most certainly blessed with things we don't deserve.

Ooooo...all of those cute little items lined up make me smile :) And that face ?!? She's starting to look more like Nate to me, but then that could change any day, huh.
That scripture is amazing. And though she isn't aware yet, you and Nate are teaching Eloise already in "all these ways".
