Home Sweet Home

We are officially moved into our new home!  I'm so thankful for my husband who worked and continues working so hard to buy our home and make so many improvements.  All weekend he was tirelessly moving load after load from the duplex to the new house, finding and fixing leaking plumbing, and countless other tasks - many of which I'm probably not even aware.  Now, it is Monday morning, so he is again at work, while Eloise and I sit snugly in our new house and watch the snow fall.

The nursery is very cozy.

I love how Eloise sleeps with her face on her hand.  (I really think she has her daddy's chin!)

Here's the kitchen.

Here's the living room.

And of course, Grandpa & Grandma Williams' house is right next door!

I think that picture of Eloise is one of the cutest yet. She looks so cozy and relaxed. It is very exciting to have you living next door and I enjoyed being with you last night very much!

There nothing so "homey" as being inside your nice warm house snuggling your baby and looking out at a snowy landscape.
I love how your new house is looking, Louise! I'll have to come see it in person one of these days.

Wow what a transformation. It has become a home where life is happening. Eloise what a blessing. Amen to our husbands who take good care of us, so we can stay in our vocation content. Rejoice!

Very Cozy Louise and the kitchen looks beautiful! Thanks for lending me some of your helpers the other night I greatly appreciate it. I know what you mean about the countless tasks our husbands do to make our homes nice. AHH I was a little overwhelmed when Daniel was gone with all the tasks he does that I don't even notice... till i have to do them myself :) It makes me all the more thankful for the help of my friends..... I can call at midnight and they do not refuse!!!!

WOW, I love your kitchen!!! I can hardly remember how it used to look but I know it was bad. The granite looks really good and the floor!!! Have fun in your new house.

HI Louise - totally off the subject here, but if you're finding yourself very generous these days I was wondering if you could perhaps possibly put Nate's absolutely delicious Tomato Soup recipe up for all of us.
I would be forever grateful, I promise... Okay I don't promise on forever, but at least for a few hours. Please????
